Over time, we will highlight many topics—new Ring releases, interesting libraries, outstanding contributors, and more—so that important events happening in the Ring community can be easily discovered through online search. This could be helpful for people who discover Ring and wants to get a quick idea about it.
Keep in mind that, at this stage of the Ring project, our primary focus is development rather than marketing. However, we believe this step will serve as a valuable historical record for the Ring project and a way to thank our contributors while helping spread awareness about their work and future projects.
Since more people have been asking about spreading the word about the Ring programming language and its ecosystem, we decided to include press releases as part of our strategy to provide resources about Ring and its growing community.
