Hello Mahmoud,

Thank you for mentioning DistroMap!

Although it's a simple API, it handles about 200k+ requests every month, which shows us that Ring with HTTPLib is reliable for real-life projects.

Best regards,
Youssef

I like the application concept and see it as a very good example about using HTTPLib :D

Note: UUID Extension is added to Ring Website - News Section, feel free to add it to RingPM Registry

Hello Youssef, Mahmoud, and All,

I tested UUID extension and it is upto 5X more performant the the Ring-based (and shell-based) solution I made in Softanza a couple of months ago: https://github.com/mayouni/stzlib/blob/main/libraries/stzlib/base/system/stzUUID.ring

I will switch to it then.

Thank you very much!
Best,
Mansour

Hello Youssef,

I reimplemented the stzUuid class based on your extension:

Observe the performance gains under each sample in the test file:

Thanks again for you and for Mahmoud who let me know the extension exists. Actually, I was not able to use my old version in a customer project due to performance issues. Now, I'm confident I can.

Best,
Mansour
