Hello Mahmoud,

In order to give access to my work on the Spanish course for Ring that I
am creating — not only from my YouTube account but also under your
supervision and that of anyone else you consider — where else could I
upload it?

Best regards,
Antonio F.S.

Hello Antonio

You can share the PowerPoint presentation as RingPM package

Hello Mahmoud,

Well, I haven't worked with Windows for years; I use Linux. Therefore, the videos I create are made with LibreOffice (Impress). However, the final editing is done afterwards with a video editor and an audio editor, so the 'odp' file only contains part of the final work.

Best regards,

Hello Antonio

(1) The RingPM package could contains the video file
You can create a package for each course (package name could include the lesson number).

(2) Another option is converting the ODP file to PPT using conversion tools (A google search led to many websites).

Greetings,
Mahmoud

Hello Mahmoud,

Regarding your first option:
I have reorganized the course, and it is now structured by Levels ->
Sections. Within each section, there will be anywhere from 1 to X videos.

How do I upload them to https://github.com/ringpackages/? I have not
worked with Github before.

Best regards,
Antonio F.S.

Hello Antonio

You don't need to upload to github.com/ringpackages

You can upload them to your account

GitHub provides a user interface to do many tasks
1- Register and create an account
2- Using the UI you can create projects and upload files

After you try the previous steps, learn about RingPM from: The Ring Package Manager (RingPM) — Ring 1.23.0 documentation

Then you can learn more about Git from YouTube tutorials, so you can easily use the command prompt (windows) or the terminal (Linux) to use Git.

Greetings,
Mahmoud

Hello Mahmoud,

I used to use Bazaar, and since it was sufficient for my work, I never got into Git. But indeed, in this stage of my professional growth, I must learn Git and GitHub if I want to understand you all.

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

Best regards,
Antonio F.S.
