I am a Software developer in the languages Clipper,Harbour, Xbase.

How to start a ring.
Please give me a sample code.
possible One code work on Windows,Linux and Mac
Which report tools are used in the Ring language. like
Fastreport,Jasper, crystal
Please Guide Me.

If you have Ring already installed on your machine, please check the examples folder, it has plenty of examples to get you started.

You could follow the next learning procedure

(1) Download Ring from the language website

(2) Study Ring from the documentation until you become comfortable with the language basics

(3) Check the language samples, pick samples based on the libraries that you want to use, or the domain.

(4) Check applications written by other contributors

(5) Ring comes with many tools (written in Ring itself)

When you have a problem follow the next procedure (step-by-step if the previous step is not enough)

(1) Try to solve it

(2) Search in this group for similar topics

(3) Search in the samples/applications/tools for related code

(4) Ask the AI

(5) Post a question in this group (including your code + clear description of the problem)
