Hello! My name is Sabe and I've recently found this language and it is confusing. Not the language itself by the fact that it a bunch of library support (BUILT IT!), tons of documentation, not very new and pretty mature as of what I've seen, and yet I've seen nothing about it. It has a very interesting syntax choice with there being 3 different styles you can choose from and I love trying to new languages so I just HAVE to look at this because it just baffles me how no one has talked about it.

Hello Sabe,

Welcome aboard! You basically summarized exactly how many of us feel about Ring. It definitely falls into the "hidden gem" category. The focus has always been heavily on development, stability, and having those "batteries included" rather than marketing, which is probably why it hasn't popped up on your radar until now.

Have fun playing around with the different syntax styles—it’s really refreshing once you get used to the flexibility!

Best regards,
Youssef

I've been playing around a bit and it is so nice to just load a file and immediately be able to use libraries like raylib, sdl, and opengl. I plan on trying to make a game or even multiple games with Ring and maybe even talk about it on my youtube channel.
