Greetings neighbors and friends,

On Friday, please stop by Varnish Fine Art at 77 Natoma Street
starting at 5pm to toast owners Jennifer Rogers & Kerri Stephens who
opened their Rincon Hill neighborhood gallery and wine bar in 2003.
They are being forced to move out to make way for the new Transbay
Transit Center along with 25 or so other businesses and another 25 or
so residential units near 2nd and Howard Street. Let's hope they find
a space in or nearby the Rincon Hill neighborhood to re-open Varnish
Fine Art. http://www.varnishfineart.com/

Did you notice that construction activity is proceeding inside the
retail space at The Infinity that is marked for the Boulevard team led
by Nancy Oakes as a new restaurant called Prospect? There's also a
rumor that the other Spear Street facing retail space at The Infinity
has been bought by folks who intend to open a cafe!

There's a lot more going on in Rincon Hill and nearby, but those are
the essentials for now ...
