Greetings Neighbors and Friends,

Please join me at the South Beach/Rincon/Mission Bay Neighborhood
Association meeting today from 6pm until 7pm at the South Beach Harbor
Services Building's Community Room (between Pier 40 and AT&T Park
along The Embarcadero). San Francisco Public Defender will make the
case for pension reform in order to help save San Francisco from

The campaign headquarters is upstairs at 910 Harrison Street (Airport
Express offices, they kindly offered some spare space to the
campaign).

There will also be guests from the SFMTA to discuss traffic calming
and other transit issues important to the SoMa Waterfront
neighborhoods.

I went to the dog park on Saturday, and I was happy to see three dogs
while I was there enjoying the off-leash freedom to run around without
worries of running into the road thanks to the fencing. Please join

Fondue Cowboy is now open (between 7th and 8th on Folsom,
http://www.fonduecowboy.com/ ). A super mom and her two daughters
are opening up an ethiopian restaurant just on the other side of Russ
Street from Fondue Cowboy ( http://www.livesoma.com/2010/04/27/moya-oh-boya/
) on June 19th - the ethiopian restaurant is called Moya. Also, The
American Grilled Cheese Kitchen is open for business, though plan on
standing in line during lunch hour peak periods ( http://theamericansf.com/
) at South Park and 2nd Streets. I think Prospect, a new restaurant
on the bottom floor of The Infinity being brought to Rincon Hill by
some of the Boulevard restaurant team members, should be opening in
