The EPIC Outreach team provides educational services to the community and professional organizations. The web page EPIC Outreach outlines the mission and services provided by the team along with contact information.

The Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) program is a New York State program for seniors administered by the Department of Health. It helps more than 325,000 income-eligible seniors aged 65 and older to supplement their out-of-pocket Medicare Part D drug plan costs. Seniors can apply for EPIC at any time of the year and must be enrolled or eligible to be enrolled in a Medicare Part D drug plan to receive EPIC benefits and maintain coverage.

EPIC provides secondary coverage for Medicare Part D and EPIC-covered drugs purchased after any Medicare Part D deductible is met. EPIC also covers approved Part D-excluded drugs once a member is enrolled in Part D.

EPIC helps pay the Medicare Part D drug plan premiums for members with income up to $23,000 if single or $29,000 if married. Higher income members are required to pay their own Part D premiums but EPIC provides premium assistance by lowering their EPIC deductible.

It is easy to join the program. Just complete the application and mail or fax it to EPIC. No documentation is required. EPIC verifies information with the Social Security Administration and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

As advancing technologies change the career landscape students enter upon graduation, universities continue to examine how best to provide a curriculum that prepares students to thrive. GSU, one of the largest and most diverse universities in the country, is nationally known for using big data and academic advising to improve student success measures for historically underserved students.

The EPIC program (Experiential, Project-based and Interdisciplinary Curriculum) provides GSU students with opportunities to develop foundational skills to help them become adaptable problem-solvers, overcoming the academic challenges they face in their studies and creating solutions to the issues they will tackle as they graduate into their professions and lives.

The program combines the strengths of an enhanced interdisciplinary education (critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills) with innovative research and project-based labs. Georgia State is piloting the EPIC program, with elements including integrated Freshman Learning Communities (FLCs) and Project Labs.

Project Labs will allow students to earn course credit over multiple semesters while working on faculty-led, interdisciplinary, public-facing projects that take on issues like homelessness and mass incarceration. Over time, faculty will build a skilled project team of undergraduate and graduate students to work in their lab.

Epic Scholars is more than just a scholarship. It is a comprehensive and holistic student support program designed to nurture academic success and professional development for students who have experienced foster care and other challenging backgrounds. The program aims to build a sense of belonging and community among independent students to foster growth and success in college and beyond. Additionally, it addresses the unique personal and financial challenges that participants may face while pursuing their degrees. Epic Scholars provides academic, economic, personal, and career support, helping students create an empowered and confident community working toward graduation.

Epic Scholars was established in January 2018. The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance and meaningful support to independent students including those who were emancipated, unaccompanied and/or former foster youth. Once a student has been accepted to the Epic Scholars program, they will remain Epic Scholars through their academic career at MSU Denver as long as annual program requirements are completed. Epic Scholarships awarded are based upon the availability of funds and additional qualifying criteria.

We are currently in a transition period. For any additional information, contact [email protected]. If you are interested in applying for the program, complete the application on the TRIO SSS website.

At its core, EPIC is an officer survival program, a community safety program, and a job satisfaction program. EPIC represents a cultural change in policing that equips, encourages, and supports officers to intervene to prevent misconduct and ensure high-quality policing. Everyone benefits when potential misconduct is not perpetrated or when a potential mistake is not made.

ABLE is offering a comprehensive active bystandership train-the-trainer event, to be delivered virtually via Zoom. This event, in which the NOPD will play an active role, will be provided at no cost to local law enforcement agencies, but those agencies will have to commit to creating a culture of active bystandership and peer intervention through policy, training, support, and accountability. To learn more about the train-the-trainer event, please visit the ABLE website.

EPIC seeks to incorporate active bystandership into everything an officer does, and to provide officers with the tools and resources needed to do it well. EPIC strives to redefine police culture so that intervention to prevent or stop harmful action is not an exception to good team-work; it is the very definition of good teamwork. To do this, EPIC reaches throughout the NOPD and touches everything the Department does. EPIC:

I have multiple scrum boards and one epic kanban board pointed at my program in EA. I notice, in Jira, that the standard issue types are automatically assigned to their Program, PI and sprint via EA (this is so cool!), is there a way to associate Epics to programs and PIs?

I know from other Community posts that you have trialed our app Easy Agile Roadmaps. Our goal with Programs, is that we would replicate the same date synchronisation behaviour in Easy Agile Roadmaps into Easy Agile Programs for issues that are scheduled on the Increment Roadmap. This would eventually automatically associate any Epics/Roadmap Issues that have start/end dates that align with the dates of a Program Increment.

Would this be an appropriate way to associate your Epics with Programs/Program Increments moving forward?

Until we bite off that date sync work, you will need to manually drag and drop the Epics from your Kanban Board onto the timeline for your Increment Roadmap.

Thanks for your quick response. I think synching could be helpful as you describe. I was actually wondering about the intended functionality of the fields that are added to Jira upon the installation of EA programs: "Program Increment" and "Program".

As a Program Manager, I want to filter all epics associated to a specific a program increment so I can visualize PI progress by Epic in a Jira dashboard gadget or confluence page for stakeholder-friendly viewing.

Update: I have since had the opportunity to speak with another helpful EA rep who said that the current functionality of EA programs does not associate these fields to Epics. Additionally, my feature request was recorded :-)

For any future reader of this post: Regarding the unusual behavior I witnessed: full disclosure, my test instance also had another app installed, which may have been conflicting and may explain why I saw it in a single record. The problem has since apparently self-corrected.

Whether you own or rent, Epic Homes is here to guide you through your energy efficiency journey so you can maximize on all the benefits of this program. In other words, we are here to help you succeed in making your home more comfortable, healthy, and energy efficient!

Fort Collins Utilities is committed to a clean energy future. One of the ways we are going to get there is by going electric. Epic Homes provides several resources to help make the transition to clean heating, cooling and water heating easier.

Most of our lives are spent indoors. When we are cooking, cleaning, showering and heating our homes, we are also impacting the quality of the air we breathe. Everyday actions have an impact on our indoor air quality and the physical health of community members.

Increasing efficiency in our homes can improve community health and well-being. Preliminary results of an ongoing Colorado State University (CSU) study show the following potential impacts of home energy efficiency upgrades:

The City of Fort Collins is committed to improving our community by working to create a carbon neutral, zero waste, and 100% renewable electricity future. To achieve this, the Our Climate Future (OCF) community plan has three goals:

The energy use in our homes and businesses account for more than two-thirds of our community emissions. By completing an Epic Home upgrade, like adding insulation or upgrading appliances, you can help contribute to OCF's vision for "Efficient, Emissions Free Buildings".

Epic Real Estate Allies are trained and knowledgeable about all components of Epic Homes, especially the Epic Certificate and how to use it to sell homes. Real Estate Allies also know about City programs and incentives, so they can support clients better through the buying and selling process.

We've certified more than 2,000 Epic Homes to date. Many can be found on the Green Building Registry (sharing is by customer choice). If you're in the market for an energy efficient home, search for addresses on the registry!

Calling all Epic Homes participants! We want to hear about your experience. Feel free to share your Epic Homes story here. Those who provide feedback will be entered into a semiannual prize drawing.

Competitive low-rate loans that allow Fort Collins Utilities customers to borrow up to $50,000 for energy efficiency upgrades as well as solar and battery systems. Customers pay back these loans on their monthly utility bill and money down is not required.

An Epic Certificate documents the rebated efficiency and solar improvements made to a home and helps give value to those improvements in the market. It also provides a Home Energy Score, similar to the miles per gallon (mpg) of your vehicle, allowing homeowners and buyers to estimate home energy use and compare home performance.
