As we start planning for our next school year, we wanted to remind families about our school supply policy. We are asking that each K-5th grade student provide a $25 dollar supply fee, instead of asking students to bring their own supplies. Students will be expected to provide a backpack and a water bottle. We will be requesting this fee in September, but wanted to remind families ahead of time.

But because he conceives culture broadly to include not only literature, art, and architecture, but the development of language and the writing of history, he is also tracing the political past. He does so respectfully but not uncritically. Along with the perseverance and talent of the Czech artists and intellectual elite came anti-Semitism, a tendency toward "official Czechness," and a passion for possessing and honoring the nation's history rather than simply understanding it and moving on.
I was enjoying wonderful Bohemian Dumplings in Prague last summer. Those dumplings were so fluffy and delicious! Bohemian dumplings are a great side for meat dishes that come with gravy. They remind me a bit of white bread and essentially they are made from similar ingredients.
The Man Machine is a riff monster ala vintage Black Sabbath as well as alt-metal/noise-rock bands such as Helmet. Curiously I was also reminded of the track Beautiful Disaster by 311, there was a certain rap-rock feel to it but more in the rhythmic structure than any ill-advised attempts at rapping.
Just a few hours from addressing the Jesuits of the Los Angeles area, Fr. General Arturo Sosa celebrated mass with his brothers in the Jesuit community chapel at Loyola Marymount University. For the community it was a chance to meet the General for a quiet moment of reflection, but it was also an opportunity for Fr. Taken in recent years to staging at least one crowd-pleasing comedy with lively, nostalgic music, Bard on the Beach's Shakespeare (and Shakespeare-associated) productions become occasions to revel in music that recalls the recent past and might remind audience members of movies they had seen as children.
