2014 Riley's Warriors Golf Classic - Tenth Anniversary

Greetings and SAVE THE DATE!

The 2014 Riley's Warriors Golf Classic – our Tenth Anniversary – is approaching and things are on track for another great tournament this year. We're scheduled for Monday, May 19^th at Eagle Hill Golf Club in Little Rock. If you aren’t familiar with our event, it is arguably one of the finest fundraising golf tournaments in the Little Rock Area. We have great food, great prizes, great people, and all of it for a great cause. Last year’s event raised almost $20,000 and provided funds for the following:

1. Produced and distributed 1,000 copies of the HOPE Notebook (Helping Organize and Prepare Effectively), a system to help the families of children with disabilities effectively manage all of the medical, educational and emergency-related paperwork for their child. Numerous helping agencies, such as Easter Seals, Arkansas Children’s Hospital and several therapy providers, are now regularly distributing these notebooks to their clients.
2. Provided 10 iPads to the Special Needs Resource classroom at Maumelle Middle School.
3. Advised numerous families who needed help to navigate the complex system of benefits available to children with disabilities. Being the Mother of a child with special needs, our Executive Director is skilled at doing just that.
4. Distributed numerous books and printed materials addressing issues related to coping with disabilities.
