Hello Youth Leaders:

Happy Sunday!  I have just published the 'Six Flag' flyer (sorry, a day late) on the Jurisdictional website.  Please take one minute to review the flyer. As soon as we have completed the review, I will make any modifications, and then it will be ready to distribute to each local church on Sunday - June 15th.

This doesn't need to be in the flyer, however, I'm wondering if this has been addressed.

Great points, Sis Griffin!

We discussed having a central meeting place, time, and travelling/parking
together; but each church or individual would be responsible for
transportation. Basically, we need to arrive at Six Flags together. Though,
the specifics we have not detailed but have discussed. I think we can
coordinate the details with each youth leaders and pass the information
along to the local churches. Much of the required details was not
discussed.

Given this, would we like these details in the flyers or perhaps a stronger
reference that it will be forthcoming in the flyer? Or, we could brief each
youth leader with additional details as discussion points? Please advise.

My preference is to arrive at Six Flags at a specific time.  We could meet there at a designated place (park entrance/parking lot?) at a set time.  Respective vehicles would plan their commute to arrive at Sis Flags at the designated time.  Caravanning can get a little funky if there are several cars.  That said, I am flexible.  I will be a chaperone and a driver for the July trip.

Thanks Sis Griffin. Sorry, for the late response.

 

This is somewhat a slippery slope. We each should be able to make it to Six Flags at the designated time; but, that said, in reality some folks will benefit from meeting at Pentecostal at 8:15 AM.  When I publish the notes I will attempt to address this point thoroughly.  I think for the time being we shall leave the decision as it stand from the meeting - we will meet at Pentecostal at 8:15 AM to arrive at Six Flags at 10:30 AM on July 26th.  That does not mean *everyone* has to caravan, but the option remains.  It also affords us an opportunity to load cars appropriately and more.  Let's re-address this at the next meeting.
