Your participation in our first Energy Independence Day, July 5, 2009, helped make it a great success on many levels. By gathering beneath Portsmouth's wind turbine, we demonstrated that on the community level, we can make real contributions to energy independence. Through your exhibit, you helped educate people of all ages about energy independence in an entertaining way.

 

Again, thank you for helping bring the important messages of energy efficiency and renewable energy to the people of Rhode Island, and for adding the important dimension of faith and stewardship to our message.
