Soour company has been drafted to draw a bunch of stuff onto Autocad plans that we need to export from a Revit model (i'm aware its ridiculous and they should provide the DWG's but that's another story.)

So what i'm asking is, as we can link DWG's to Revit, is it in any way possible to do the same thing the other way around? i mean, directly i cant see how its possible because there has to be a conversion process somewhere...


If you have to do production work in Autocad then I suggest to stay in Autocad as working with what comes out of Revit is very, um, hair pulling, as nothing will work the way one is used to in Autocad.


Be careful of what you wish for. I would much rather do my own exporting. With good drawing export settings, you probably can get exactly what you need with little to no cleanup. You most likely won't get that from the Reviteers in the other office.
