Subject: National Youth Service Programme

Dear Members of the SET Community

The Department of Science and Technology is inviting unemployed Science, Engineering and Technology graduates to volunteer their services towards the implementation of the Youth into Science Strategy under the auspices of the National Youth Service Programme of the South African Government.

A total of 125 Volunteers (two of whom will have experience in managing Human Resource matters related to these types of projects) will be deployed to the 22 centres country-wide where they will volunteer their services for a period of up to 24 months.
