Job Purpose:
 
To provide administrative support to the Sub District Business Units.

 

Key Performance Areas Include:

 

·       Applying administrative procedures and processes with regard to procuring of goods for health operations within facilities to ensure optimal performance of the sub-district cost centres

·       Processing of purchase requisitions and reservations on SAP

·       Liaising with buyers and suppliers regarding procurement of services

·       Preparing direct payments for sundry creditors

·       Processing notifications on internal service providers on SAP for building, equipment, grounds and vehicle maintenance

·       Performing administrative processes with regard to maintenance to ensure that buildings, vehicles, equipment and grounds are properly maintained

·       Providing the cost centre owner with relevant information for follow-up purposes

·       Following up on outstanding maintenance issues

·       Capturing, verifying and submitting documentation relating to HR staffing issues to ensure compliance with HR and training policies and procedures

·       Maintaining an updated data base of health facilities and staff establishment within the sub-district

·       Performing specific administrative processes dealt with by the district office to provide an efficient and effective support to management of the sub-district

 

Requirements:

 

·       Unless the incumbent can demonstrate that he/she has developed the necessary competencies through experience, a Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) is required

·       Proven knowledge and experience of processing purchase requisitions on SAP

·        Knowledge and use of office equipment

·       Administrative experience in the Sub-District would be advantageous

·       Computer literacy (particularly in MS Word and Excel)

·       Effective oral/written communication skills

Job Purpose:
 
To provide administrative support to Specialised Service Unit.
 
Key Performance Areas Include:
 

·        Administrative procedural processes with regard to procuring of goods and services for health operations within facilities to ensure optimal performance of the Specialised Service Unit

·        Processing notifications on internal service providers on SAP for building, equipment, grounds and vehicle maintenance

·        Following up on outstanding maintenance issues to ensure that buildings, vehicles, equipment and grounds are properly maintained

·        Capturing, verifying and submitting documentation relating to HR staff issues to ensure compliance with HR and training policies and procedures

·                Training and mentoring entry level clerks on general administrative duties

·        Submitting insurance claims to corporate insurance and liaising with corporate insurance regarding purchasing of replacement items

·                Bar coding assets and forwarding documentation to asset management

·                Undertaking administrative duties which could include typing reports and taking minutes at meetings

·                Capturing vehicle kilometres onto fleet management website

·                Processing of purchase requisitions and reservations on SAP

·        Performing ad-hoc functions as determined by the Line Manager

 

Requirements:

Job Purpose:
 
To assist with the management of a Comprehensive Personal Primary Health Care service and  the provision of Primary Health Care Services and to provide support to the Clinic Manager in performing management and clinical nursing functions to ensure  an effective and quality Comprehensive Personal Primary Health Care  service/programme is rendered in a unit or clustered health facility.
 
Key Performance Areas Include:
 

·       Assisting with the planning and implementation of policy, procedure, goals and objectives at facility level

·       Assisting the Clinic Manager with the management and supervision of Personal Primary Health Care staff within a facility

·       Assisting with the implementation of external and internal communication plans within the community and facility

·       Assisting with the monitoring and evaluation of Personal Primary Health Care services

 
 
 

·       Consulting and providing preventative and rehabilitative treatment/health care to clients on various clinical specialities (Communicable and Infectious diseases, childhood illnesses, pre and post natal care, occupational health, etc)

·       Participating in the delivery of Health Promotion on clinical approaches to safe and healthy living to the community

·       Performing specific administrative sequences associated with the updating of clinical records and registers

 
Requirements: 
 

·       A Diploma in General Nursing and  Midwifery or Community Health

·       At least 4 or 5 years experience in a Personal Primary Health Care Service/Programmes

·       Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council

·       Knowledge of the organizational structure

·       Computer literacy

·       Effective oral/written communication skills

·       Planning and organising skills

·       Tact, perseverance, patience and diplomacy

Job Purpose:

 

To ensure that the operational, managerial and strategic information requirements across the Economic and Social Development Directorate are met.

 
Key Performance Areas Include:
 

·                Providing Information Management Support to the Executive Director and Manager: Projects, Strategy and Support

·                Performing management functions related to ensuring data integrity and the manipulation and analysis of data

·                Co-ordinating the information and knowledge management functions of the directorate

·        Developing interface models between the Departments within the Directorate, corporate role players and public sector based on KM principles
