WE all must organise such a meeting in tribal heartland such to take similar pledge. In PKVY Project Areas, the farmers are in fact taking such a pledge. To reiterate this again, we shall invite Dr. Devinder Sharma. This is what I have indicated him and he has given consent.

Thanks, Bimal for your suggestions. You do not know that Chemical Fertilisers and Pesticides have made deep inroads into tribal areas. You come and see these vast stretches of commercial crops- Maize, Cotton etc. You need to update yourself.

On organising Meetings/Conventions/Town Halls, we know what is most strategic as so many factors decide an event. Next time we organise in a bigger scale, we shall have an open space. You will be invited!

Odisha's tribal farmers are originally Organic Farmers. Still they have not been victimized by modern farming practice, which is highly dependent on chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides.

So replication should not be exactly from Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

There are also research findings available on same concept from Tribal Farming communities of Odisha. Please trace out those and carry forward a process. Kindly never organise any knowledge programs in auditoriums. Rather a echo protected hall for Round-table based programs can contribute to your process. Otherwise your efforts would be confined with events only.
