TRIBAL WRITERS MEET: AN INVITATION
Thanks for all your enthusiastic Comments and Likes to my earlier posting. I am amazed that many of you have supported the idea of the Meet of the Tribal Writers. Many of you have indicated that it is a new initiative. It is our collective efforts to support the writers from different tribal communities to write in their own language/dialect which is original and authentic.
The Program organised by the State Resoure Centre for Adult and Continuing Education (SRC-AGRAGAMEE), Rayagada will be held on 8th August 2018 ( 9.30am to 3.30pm, Sadbhabana Conference Hall( DNK) Koraput ) Writers from Bonda , Gadaba , Soura , Kuvi Koraput, Kui Kandhmal , Penga Kondh, Jhodia , Geetkudia of Nabarangpur will read their scripts followed by discussion. Totally 16 Scripts will be presented.
Eminent Bonda writer Mr. Laxman Mandra will preside. Mr. S.P. Thakur, IAS, Chief Administrator, KBK will be the Chief Guest.
The Manuscripts will be published as Books later on.
We need support and encouragement from all our friends.
