State Level Women's Convention on 4th to 6th September at Koraput

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Agragamee! 

Please be informed that  A state Level Women's Convention is being organised at Koraput with the sole objective of discussing and debating issues related to, Food and Nutrition,  Agriculture and Livelihood, Empowerment and Entitlement which are confronted by women across the Tribal Region. It is expected that 100 tribal women  from 10 districts will participate. Mr. R.L.Jamuda, IAS( Retired), Chairperson, Odisha State Food Commission will inaugurate the event and will give keynote address.  

These women while participating in the Convention in previous years have formed a strong collective Called MAATI MAARA SANTANA.

The details of the Convention are as follows:

Date: 4th to 6th September

Venue: Tribal Museum

Participants: Tribal Women Leaders from 10 Districts, NGOs/CSOs, Government Officials, Media Persons, Academics

If any one is  interested to learn from these women leaders, please do come and participate.  Please be informed that there is no provision of  providing TA/DA to participants other than these 100 women leaders.

Please do come and encourage these women leaders.
