An artist I met recently put me on to a company called CD Baby that
distirbutes indie albums on iTunes, Amazon, etc. Perhaps instead of
shopping the Rifflet Album around with Idependent Record Labels, the
site could release the album on iTunes through this company and then
donate a portion of the proceeds to charity? What do you guys think.
Due to the collaborative nature of the project, it could be hard to
get an established indie label to take on a project with so many
contributors.
