Before printing your labels from a label template, it is best to read your printers manual to make sure you are using the correct feed tray and you have changed the property settings according to the type of paper or film you printing on.
I've been printing sheet labels but the place I bought them from didn't give me a template to use :/ So I'm trying to create my own template with Word because the margins don't match up with any Avery/Online Labels/Sheetlabels.com templates. I went through the whole process of making the template in Word, and it did work, but whenever I print, my design doesn't fully print over the label (you can see in the picture). What am I doing wrong, and how do I get it so my design will fully print over the label?

Any suggestions on how to get the design to fully print over the label? Or even if I should be creating these templates in something other than Word? I've thought about using Illustrator or InDesign but I'm not sure what would be easier. PLEASE HELP!!!
yes, this is how i set up the page exactly - File->-new->labels. And if you click on the format tab, all of the measurements are correct. Yet, somehow, it is adding .5" to the top margin when printing
When you go to file - new - labels and select Avery 8160, in the label inscription box where you type the text, add one blank line to the top and space 4 times on each of your line items of text before you type.
Word for the web doesn't support directly creating labels. However you can create labels from a template. For label templates, select More templates when you create a new document in Word for the web.

Using the JPG Detailed Image:
Use the detailed image to view the exact layout of the labels on the sheet, as they have the length and width, top and bottom margins, and spaces between the labels marked. You may need to use these if you are using a program that you have to enter the label dimensions yourself.
Using MicroSoft Word:
Right-click on the MicroSoft Word document and save the template to your computer for opening in Word. If you don't see the label outline, please turn on your Label Gridlines and they will show up.
Using Illustratoror Inkscape:
Right-click and save the PDF file to your computer for use in Illustrator or any other designing software as a template to layout out your art. Open the file in your program and lock that as a layer. Create a second layer and input your artwork. Just hide the template layer before printing so that the label lines do not print.
TRICK. Print off a few copies of the template on regular paper before printing on the label sheets. That way if something is wrong you can troubleshoot without wasting any label sheets. Just remember to Pint off to scale.
At the end of the month I will be mixing monitors for a festival with a bunch of different bands, and using a QU-32. Saving scenes is obviously the way to go, but I was wondering if anyone has already made a template for the channel strip above the faders, so that I can remove and replace the labels per act (they all appear once over the weekend and then return for the final concert on the final night).
Absolutely! Foxy Labels is an extension for Google Workspace that enables you to create and print labels in Google Docs and Google Sheets, similar to the functionality in Microsoft Word and Excel. Just click on the very last label or card on the existing template page. Hit tab. You might have to hit a couple times, but it only took once for me. It will create a brand new black label page, no problem!

While you could click the Print button in the Envelopes and Labels dialog box to quick print your labels to your default printer, you may decide to click the New Document button so you can make any last-minute edits before printing. I'd like to create a sheet of labels like my old Avery software. I have 21 63x38mm labels in 3 columns of 7 rows. In betweeb each column there is a 2mm gap. Then there's space at the edges of the page too.

If volunteers (i.e. parents in lieu of a certified coach) are on the bench, their first and last names must be placed on the scoresheet. For subs/kids playing up those you will have to write in as best you can.
Resize Template Image
Double click on the page to select the template image. When you hover over the four corners, you should see arrows. Drag on these arrows to resize the template image.
In the example file below, Rory and Jackson are new contacts being associated with unique labels to existing contacts, using their Email values as the unique identifier. Sookie is an existing contact being associated to two existing contacts with the same label. In the first row, the association label is part of a label pair, which means once the import is completed, the associated record will have the label Parent and Rory will have the paired label, Child.
