The Salt Ponds Coalition is looking for committed volunteers to support our school field trips and to join our Education Committee. Our educational programs are at the heart of what we do, and we are working to build a strong, reliable team for the year ahead.
For our field trips, we are especially seeking volunteers who are interested in taking on a lead role with visiting school groups. These trips take place primarily in May and June and involve guiding activities, supporting students and educators, and helping ensure each visit is engaging and well-run. No prior experience is required. We are reaching out early so we can provide training and support and ensure volunteers feel confident and prepared, but we do need individuals who can make a dependable commitment and are comfortable stepping into a leadership role.
The Education Committee focuses on shaping and supporting educational programming for both children and adults. Committee members collaborate on program ideas, help guide our educational direction, and support meaningful learning opportunities for the broader community.
