"Hi ! My name is Gitanjali Eva Sadana and I am the Field Intern at The Climate Reality Project and the hub coordinator for the Sunrise Movement’s Washington DC Chapter. I focus on organizing my community for environmental justice and the passing of the Green New Deal. 

 I think the Rhode Island Environmental Education Association is doing incredible work in protecting the environment and fighting the climate crisis and, as a fellow climate advocate, I’d like to invite people from your Rhode Island network to a unique opportunity to amplify impact alongside leading activists, scientists, and former US Vice President Al Gore.

 

The free Climate Reality Leadership Training in New York City (April 12-14) is designed to empower experienced and new climate advocates alike.  Whether you're spearheading campaigns, mobilizing communities, or influencing policy, this training equips you with the knowledge, network, and tools to take your work to the next level.

• A deeper understanding of the climate crisis and the solutions in our hands today.
• Critical communications and advocacy skills to drive change.

I’m a member & have done the training. When I moved here almost 2 years ago I learned that there is no RI chapter. So if anyone does the training and wants to help start a new chapter, feel free to reach out to me. The other option is to connect with the southeastern MA chapter.
