Student Lobby Day - Compost in Schools

Hello environmental educators, 

There will be a Student Lobby Day on Thursday, May 21 at 3:30 at the Senate Chamber of the State House to support composting legislation. This is an exciting opportunity to come together with students from across the state, visit the Senate Chamber, and ask State Senators to Support SB 2438 and SB 2437 to strengthen the School Food Waste Ban and Composting Law.  Share what the Get Food Smart Program means to you and your school community!

See attached flyer and if you are interested in getting some students to participate, please fill out this Google Form and we will follow up with you with more details! Students need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone, but we will not provide transportation as this is not an official school function.
