Dear partner,
I'm writing to invite you to an in-person All Partners Meeting of the Northeast Bird Habitat Conservation Initiative (NBHCI) taking place on Tuesday, September 17 from 9 am–4 pm at the Merck Forest and Farmland Center in Dorset, VT. You can register here for the meeting. More details below.
The NBHCI is a collaborative of conservation professionals, namely Regional Conservation Partnerships (RCPs), Audubon leaders, and regional conservation partners across the Northeast, interested in bird and bird habitat conservation at scale. The NBHCI is co-coordinated by Katie Blake at Highstead and Sara Barker with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
The meeting on September 17 will be an opportunity to network and hear from partners across the Northeast who have been working together on bird-focused land conservation and engagement projects. The second half of the meeting will be a field program centered on bird-friendly forestry concepts and practices, led by Audubon Vermont onsite at Merck.
This meeting is open to everyone, not just folks who have been involved in the partnership.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Katie Blake, Conservationist at Highstead, at kbl...@highstead.net
