Pawtucket Free Tree Program!

Hello RIEEA Community!

Did you know that the City of Pawtucket offers a free street tree program? It's not widely advertised and we want to make sure all residents are aware of this opportunity and have an equal chance to take advantage of it.

This year, the Green Infrastructure Center (GIC), is partnering with the City of Pawtucket to incorporate the option for free yard trees. A certified arborist from GIC will coordinate directly with property owners and renters (if they have permission from their landlord) to purchase and plant the trees for them!
