Hi RIEEA community!
As part of the Zoo's next Free Saturday for Providence residents, we’ll be welcoming in local organizations to table inside the Zoo and share their incredible work with our visitors. This will be a vibrant community event—and we’d love for you to be part of it. In fact, the last time we did this back in May, there were about 7,000 guests!
This special community tabling event will be at Roger Williams Park Zoo on Saturday, September 6, 2025!
Event Details:
📍 Location: Roger Williams Park Zoo
📅 Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025
🕣 Arrival Time: 8:30 AM
🕓 End Time: 4:00 PM
💰 Cost: Free (includes Zoo admission for up to 3 staff/volunteers per table)
👥 Volunteers: We recommend having volunteers work in shifts throughout the day to avoid burnout and ensure everyone enjoys the experience.
🌆 Audience: The Zoo is open to all visitors, but Providence residents will receive free admission on this day.
This is a great opportunity to engage with families, share resources, and raise awareness about your organization—all within the beautiful and dynamic environment of the Zoo.
If your organization would like to participate, please email my colleague Shiloh at scabot...@rwpzoo.org to RSVP by August 25th so we can reserve your spot and provide setup information.
Additionally, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or if you want to learn more about what we are doing for community engagement at the Zoo.
We hope to see you there!
Warmly,
|
