Hello RIEEA community! Hope everyone is able to enjoy some of this lovely "spring" weather!
A reminder that our Annual Summit: Education Through Cultivation is this Saturday, March 14, from 8am-12pm at RIC Donovan Dining Hall. The morning will include keynote speaker Sienna Viette (an agricultural educator and farmer at Open fArms Retreat), facilitated discussions, cross-sector networking, BREAKFAST!, raffles, and door prizes. Whether you work in a classroom, on a farm, in a nonprofit, or in your community, this Summit is designed to leave you inspired, connected, and equipped with ideas you can put into practice.
Our March Virtual Lunch & Learn: Office Hour is next Thursday, March 19 at 12pm. Make new connections, answer questions, and delve into discussion on the state of environmental education in RI. It will also be a great opportunity to share takeaways from the Summit!
