Happy Friday everyone! 
 
A lot more bills (like over 500!!) were introduced in the past week, so we are watching, supporting, or opposing not tracking 38 bills. Check them out on our 2026 Bill Tracker. Not many of the bills we're tracking have had hearings yet, but since my last udpate, we've submitted comments in support of S-2142 (Foot Paths for Public Access) and on one section of the FY2027 budget related to the Green Bond (Article 6, Question 5). Right now there is absolutely no funding for Local Open Space, State Open Space, and Farmland Preservation, and only $1M for the Outdoor Recreation Grant Program - i.e., the parts of the Green Bond that speak to RIEEA's policy priorities. This testimony is linked from the bill tracker in column K.
