I’d like to share a free educational resource that may be of interest to your members. Give Earth A Chance (GEAC) is a cooperative board game that helps students explore the complexities of climate challenges, civic decision-making, and social equity in an engaging and accessible way.

The game:
  • Free to Download – available now as print-ready files for teachers, classrooms, and community groups.
  • Available in U.S. English – can be used in science, social studies, or civic learning contexts.
  • Supports Curriculum Goals – while not designed as a formal curriculum product, it lends itself well to K–12 climate, systems thinking, and civic engagement learning.
  • Collaborative, Not Competitive – students must work together to solve problems before time runs out.
GEAC is freely available under a Creative Commons license. You can download the full game directly through OER Commons, a trusted global repository for open educational resources:

You can also explore the broader project, background, and community resources at our website:

If this aligns with your mission, I’d be grateful if you could share it with your members or connect me with someone on your curriculum or educator engagement team.

Thank you for your leadership in supporting teachers and preparing students to think critically about the challenges that shape their future.

Warm regards,
