Do you have an educational challenge that you want solved in your formal or informal learning space? Are you a K-12 teacher, student, or parent of a K-12 student? Offer feedback to the U.S. National Science Foundation!

NSF has created FINDERS FOUNDRY, a program supporting collaboration among K-12 educators, technologists, and researchers to develop innovative solutions to persistent challenges in learning and workforce development. These challenges are identified by K-12 students, families, and educators. The program aims to create and scale evidence-based practices, tools, and technologies that improve learning outcomes and prepare students for a digital, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven future.

A key focus is early exposure to AI to build curiosity, understanding, and readiness for future careers. The program encourages partnerships across sectors - schools, universities, industry, government, and nonprofits - to co-design responsive, technology-based solutions.

You can offer feedback by filling out NSF's survey (Corrected link). It is very rare that NSF asks for insights directly from the communities they are trying to serve through research, so please share your perspectives! Also, no one from Rhode Island has submitted as of today. View current list of submitted challenges.

Your feedback will be shared with researchers across the country who, from your ideas, will develop innovative research projects supporting STEM learners and their families, and they may ask to partner with you. Thank you for your consideration, and good luck!

Best,
