Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone in the network has recommendations for a contract-based fundraising professional or independent development consultant specializing in the environmental and wildlife conservation sector.

A wonderful local organization, Congress of the Birds (which focuses on wild bird rescue, rehabilitation, and future plans for an art and environmental advocacy space in Chepachet), is currently preparing a grant application. They are looking to include a request to hire a professional to help build their donor base.

Because of an upcoming grant deadline, they need someone who could jump in fairly quickly to help put together a turnaround scope of work for the proposal. Ideally, they are looking for someone located in Rhode Island or the wider New England region with specific niche experience in wildlife/conservation fundraising.

If you have any leads, personal recommendations, or if this sounds like a fit for your own consulting work, please let me know or feel free to reach out to me directly.

Thank you so much for any thoughts or connections!

Best,

Jen
