**March 9th Community Meeting about the Port of Providence**

When: Monday, March 9th from 6 - 7:30 pm
Where: Knight Memorial Library (Downstairs), 275 Elmwood Ave., Providence
Who: People's Port Authority (PPA), Washington Park Association (WPA), and South Providence Neighborhood Association (SPNA)
Why:
We have crucial updates to share so that we can all do our part to keep pushing for meaningful change in the Port of Providence. We need ALL OF US singing from the same songbook. This meeting is going to help our community of supporters get current and ready for what’s next.
At this meeting, we will share crucial updates about:
- The Provport Master Planning Process and what to expect in the coming weeks
- The Public Street Right of Way and the infamous mystery pipe
- The Community Benefits Reserve Account and the future of this vital community resource
FYI - We have word that the RI Energy is refusing to pay for their part of the pipe clean up at Public Street. It might be time to heat this leaky pipe issue up to the next level!!!
