Hi RIEEA! We are still looking for volunteers for our plogging event coming up on Sunday, May 3. The weather is looking clear and cool and it will be a great day to help support sustainability in the Providence running community.

"Ploggers" can walk or run 1-4 miles while ensuring the course is clear of race debris like water bottles, gel packets, etc. We had a lot of fun last year and collected 5 bags of trash, and this year we're hoping to do even more! We'd be happy to work with school groups to ensure a great volunteer experience.

You can sign up at rhoderaces.com/volunteer, Click on Providence and then Plogging. The task password is NRICD. Please help spread the word! Though we are assigning some routes today we will continue to take registrations.
