MEES hosting FREE film screening of In Our Nature

Greetings RIEEA Network - The Massachusetts Environmental Education Society (MEES) is hosting two FREE screenings of the film IN OUR NATURE on Saturday, February 28 in partnership with the Trustees and the Hitchcock Center for the Environment. 

In Our Nature is a 60-minute documentary exploring how nature-based education can help us reconnect in a time of rising loneliness, political division, and environmental uncertainty. Through three powerful stories - from a flower farm on Chicago’s South Side, to a forest school in rural Kentucky, to a healing-in-nature program for military families in San Antonio - the film reveals how connection to the natural world can bridge divides, strengthen communities, and support youth mental health. Both urgent and hopeful, In Our Nature shows why access to nature isn’t a luxury, but essential to what it means to be human.
