Sustainability Internship Opportunity with newportFILM

Hi all, 

I am sharing a summer sustainability internship opportunity with newportFILM for their outdoor film series. Description and application details are attached below! 

The sustainability intern supports the event sustainability procedures at newportFILM Outdoors, a series of ten outdoor community film screenings from late June through August. This intern will lead onsite sustainability efforts, including overseeing waste management at zero waste stations, communicating event sustainability programs to volunteers and filmgoers, and reporting key event metrics weekly. This intern will work alongside newportFILM staff and volunteers, and be supported by the organization’s sustainability consultant, WasteNaut Consulting. The sustainability intern should have an interest in any or all of the following: composting, recycling, sustainability, waste management, environmental behavior change, communications, community engagement/education, and data analysis.
