Thanks to all for exercising caution during and following the near record deluge of rain yesterday.(apparently there is more to come today)
The steps and bridge by the tennis courts have created a hazard due to mulch and gravel runoff. Please be careful or avoid those areas completely until we can address them.
The walking path down closer to Brookwood has had some washout, creating some uneven surfaces. Please exercise caution
Crescent Park got particularly hit hard as they are in such a low spot. Trees limbs came down on Tunnel Blvd and possibly blocked the flow of their park ditch.
If your grinder Pump alarm goes off, press the button on the box to silence and call
423-209-6408. (The light will continue to flash). You simply leave your name and address. WWTA (Water and Watewater Treatment Authority) will then come out and evaluate. (At no cost to homeowner) (Some of the wording on the boxes have faded and are hard to see/read) . * I hope this will be particularly helpful to new neighbors.
Any residential water pipe breaks etc can be reported to TAW (Tennessee American Water) and they will assist if it involves city infrastructure.
423-771-4768
If you have or see any other problems or questions please direct them to me or Ron Jobe. We and Commissioners Thompson and Collins will be address them to the best of our ability.
Be safe,
Katy
(It would be a good idea to put the WWTA and TAW numbers in your personal contacts for future reference)
