I’m reaching out today with an important request to support someone who has given so much to our team. Our former head coach, Robert Parks , and his wife, Leilah, had their home severely damaged in the flash flooding Tuesday evening. While we’re grateful that Rob, Leilah, and all their animals are safe, the damage is extensive (over $50,000) and, heartbreakingly, not covered by insurance.
The immediate goal is to pump the remaining water out of their home and begin safe removal of damaged materials: HVAC, insulation, appliances, interior and exterior walls (now bowing from water damage), siding, flooring, duct work, and more. After that remediation and removal are complete, we hope to help them rebuild and restore their home to a safe and healthy environment.
