Dear Ridgesiders.  Three large deer entered my backyard, likely escaping the construction occurring today in the forested area around the swimming pool. We have noticed and photographed similar size deer recently, so they, and other animals, including possum, raccoon, and woodchuck occupy this area.  Please be vigilant driving on Shallowford Road.  Deer can jump in front of vehicles without warning and cause accidents.  Especially warn young drivers, who may not have experience with deer encounters on the roadway.  Jim Orlando
