Baby or pet gate to borrow

Howdy neighbors,

We are trying acclimate a 2nd cat to our home and it’s been a challenge. So we are going to try some specific things that cat experts have recommended. One of them is to separate the cats with something they can’t pass through but can see/smell each other through.

The doorway in our home we thing would be best for this is just over 4ft wide, we could make sometihg. Does anyone have a pet gate or baby gate that they aren’t using that we might borrow? Doesn’t have to measure to 4 feet, we could work with something shorter.
