Hi Rodger and members,

As a fairly new member of the club, I agree with Rodger about the name change.
And would like to see a monthly ride.

Regards, Newbie Phil

    Hello Friends and Members,

Over the last six or seven years, the V-COM has morphed into the club that
simply is what it is. The original vision was fulfilled enroute and all
    have enjoyed a good ride.

I have been thinking tonight and would like to put this to an open
discussion with an ultimate (no hurry) consenscus.

The proposal is simple. It has to do with a fresh new name change that
invites the very people who are already the core group and becomes more of
an open door to anything on two or three wheels. From V-COM to
    R-COM...Rider's Club of Monterey.

I love my Vespa but there are limitations. A new name with a renewed vision
to invite the local motorcyclists to have a place to call home. No dues, no
President or Czar. A simple one ride per month and continue our Sunday
    coffee at Stone Creek Starbucks.

I would be interested in hearing from you also if you object and just plain
opposed to a new venue. Feel free to voice your opinion whatever it is.
Remember this is simply an open discussion at this point.

    Ride on, ride on.

    Hi Gang,

I'd like to endorse a new shop, yet a familiar mechanic on the Monterey
Bay. Freedom, actually on 80 Airport Blvd.

The shop is, Ben's Motorcycle Works and the owner/technician is, Ben
Vickery. Ben has more than seven years dealership experiance at the former
BMW/Yamaha of the Monterey Bay over in Watsonville.

He is specializing in BMW motorcycle service, parts and repair and basic
service on Vespa as well as any scotter or Japanese bike. Give him a call
    at 831.786.8866

Ben is friendly, helpful and informative. He will give you excellent and
personal service. He will spend the time to address all you concerns.

Check www.bensmotorcycleworks.com for details or ride on over to
    Watsonville.

    Roger
