If you want to mark the date for the Santa Cruz club bbq, it will be the second sunday of the month, the 13th. The ride usually starts at Fins on Ocean at 11:00, followed by the bbq at Mark & Barbara's house on Trevethan.

 

I will post more details closer to the date, with directions. The Dirk Memorial Ride is the same every year and we do ride fairly far south, so there is the possibility of joining in the ride on the south end. But if you want to skip the ride and come for the bbq, that is fine also.

 

As with your bbq, we would like a head count when it gets closer to the date, so that we will have enough food, but of course, there is usually more than enough. If you would like to bring something to add to the mix, keep in mind that we have 1 person with an onion allergy and 1 with a black bean allergy. For years I was making a big pot of bean with both of those ingredients - took me a while to figure out why some wouldn't touch them.
