HI Bob!  I am needing to address a couple issues with the Valk.

1.  I need to remove the accessory light bar, including the front turn signals from the bike, due to ugly corrosion and in an attempt to clean up the look of the bike.  That means installing new turn signals.  Most likely at the OEM position attached to the upper fork legs.  Wires run into the headlight casing.  Fun...not!

2.  I want to remove the accessory air horn.  It has been damaged by oncoming debris and I have never cared for the "over the top" look of the thing.  That means reinstalling the stock, wimpy horn,  Or, as others have done, going the cheap route and installing auto parts store--air horn alternatives under the bike and out of sight.  I think I could use the existing setup and just run a new air hose to cheap trumpets under the frame.

3.  I want to repaint the bike--tank and fenders.  It is currently a custom color but I don't think they reinstalled the gasket or sealed around the tank filler opening, so gas has sloshed out around the edge and curdled the paint in an obvious way.  I'm thinking of going with a black denim paint, similar to Harley Davidson's.  Not flat black , but kind of a matte.  Anyway, I am still researching that.

I would ordinarily do this myself, but we have moved to a condo complex, have nothing but a carport, and the regs strictly forbid working on vehicles.  Are you too busy to take on numbers 1 and 2?  Also, regarding number 3, would you be willing to remove the tank and fenders--then reinstall-- if I find someone locally to handle the painting?  If you are up for it, I'd be happy to help, bringing you cigars, rum and cokes, etc, while you work.  Also, I would pay you for your time, commensurate with your expertise and experience.  Wait a minute!  I don't have that kind of money!

If not, I may run up to Roger's guy in Watsonville and see if he is willing and reasonable.
