I have enough lashing straps so I'll try it next time..........Still more fun to use starting fluid:)

I was just thinking..........those straps compress the bead so much I wonder how much of a seal there will be to inflate the tire once it's on!!

I think the rubber will eventually get back in shape and remember about pushing the wheel with mounted tire against a wall? It may speed up a bit.
