One last reminder (as if you'd forget) to join cyclists worldwide
today to honor those injured or killed while riding and to raise
awareness of all that we want and need to share the roads with
motorists. As of this morning, there are 314 confirmed rides worldwide
in over 20 countries on all 7 continents (yes, even Antarctica will
hold a spin for silence!) The Ride of Silence - Harbor Springs will
meet downtown Harbor in the parking lot of the Harbormaster (250 E.
Bay St.) by 6:30pm with the worldwide ride beginning promptly at
7:00pm. The planned route is very similar to 2010 (including some road
construction & detours) and I have included a link to the proposed
route here:

This is a free, silent, all-inclusive ride that will travel at no more
than 8-12 mph and will ride no more than two-abreast. Please remember
to wear your 2010 yellow R of S t-shirt (or another yellow shirt/
jacket) and your helmet. I do have a few t-shirts available for new
riders.
I look forward to seeing everyone again this year and to enjoy a ride
with you all to honor fallen cyclists and raise awareness to share the
road.
Thank you,
