Fellow Cyclists,
One last reminder about tonight's
Ride of Silence. The weather is looking very good but it will be cooler by the lake so you may need a light layer.
It is relatively flat route except for the climb up State St/M-119 (aka West Hill) and a couple of small rollers along Shore Drive. We will keep the pace manageable for everyone and will keep the group together, no faster than 8-12 mph (typically closer to 9) which should take us about 45-50 minutes.
The group will ride 2 abreast and we will remain as silent as possible throughout the ride in honor and remembrance of fallen cyclists. Please remember you helmet. I may have an extra one just in case.
I look forward to seeing you tonight at 6:30 for sign-in and pre-ride instructions: H.S. Harbormaster parking lot, 250 E. Bay St. If you're unable to make the ride, please join us at the start/finish or along the route for a show of support.
Thank you,
Christopher Benson
