Bendinga fiber optic cable excessively may cause the optical signal to refract and escape through the cladding. It could also cause permanent damage by creating micro cracks on the delicate glass fibers. And when over-bending interferes with light transmission, the resulting increased attenuation compromises the integrity of your valuable data.

The best source on the Internet for cabling and connectivity products and information: calculating fill factor, sizing conduits, fill factor, designing conduit runs, electrical metallic tubing, 569 compliance, conduit bends.

Hello! Is it mandatory to replace the Heatbed Cable Cover 60 Degree when we have an Ikea closure. The cables rest in the polycarbonate at the back of the box, when the bed is in the rearmost position?

I printed them from Prusament PETG, but I have to disassemble a lot of things to install them, and the power supply is out of the box and the cables are very short. The space I've chosen for the printer with the box is tight and very laborious to work with, at least for now. In principle, the original part is cast from PETG or from ABS, ASA??

Yes, the original Prusa cable bracket is PETG but I strongly recommend printing it from a filament more heat resistant ( ABS/ASA/PC) if you print often with the bed at temperatures higher than 80C. Take into account that the bracket is in close contact with the edge of the bed and PETG filament starts to loose rigidity above 70C. I had to replace mine after printing a bunch of ASA parts, because it was sagging visibly.

With the original straight cover, the cable bundle will hit the back of the enclosure when the bed slides to its rearmost position. So unless you move your printer forward so much that the LCD display sticks out, you should replace it with a 60 degrees or more cover.

The original cover is made from PETG. However, I had it melt on two of my Mk3S after a year or so, so I replaced it with one I printed with PC-CF (ASA/ABS would be fine two). If you only intend to print PLA and PETG, a PETG cover would probably be okay but I've printed PC-CF and ASA as well so the heatbed gets heated up more.

Pro cables. Pro results. The CableMod Pro Series represents the next-generation of CableMod cables engineered for the discerning PC enthusiast and modder. This 12VHPWR PCI-e cable is a replacement cable for ASUS / Seasonic / Phanteks power supplies. Featuring a 90 degree 12VHPWR connector with StealthSense Technology and vibrant ModMesh sleeving, CableMod Pro Series cables deliver the robustness and craftsmanship for builds where only the best will do.

This cable comes equipped with a 90 degree 12VHPWR connector, allowing it to be installed in systems with limited clearance to the side panel. Crafted with 16AWG wiring supporting up to 600W and managed neatly with five pre-installed closed cable combs, this cable not only does the job, but also looks the business. Each cable is also constructed to completely eliminate merged terminals on the component side, which means that only clean, untangled wires are visible in your build.

Like all CableMod products, the CableMod Pro Series is crafted with the utmost attention to detail. Our famous ModFlex sleeving provides lush color and excellent flexibility. The minimally-applied heatshrink has been thoughtfully located to be hidden away behind your motherboard tray, and precision molded connectors mean a secure and easy fit for every build.

90 Degree Variant A is designed for GPU ports with the latch facing upwards. This would result in the cable running towards the cooler side of the GPU. If this is installed in a GPU port with the latch facing downwards, the cable will instead run towards the GPU backplate.

90 Degree Variant B is designed for GPU ports with the latch facing downwards. This would result in the cable running towards the cooler side of the GPU. If this is installed in a GPU port with the latch facing upwards, the cable will instead run towards the GPU backplate.

We have an HP tape autochanger mounted in a rack, but it's so deep that with the external mini-SAS cable plugged in we cannot close the rear rack door - if we did we'd crush the SAS cable well beyond a sensible bend radius! Has anyone come across an external mini SAS cable with a 90 degree plug, or a 90 degree adapter? I've spent a while searching online without success.

The connector you have there is called a mini-SAS SFF-8088 and I've been googling around and genuinely can't find any 90 degree bent cables or connectors. Have you looked to see if the rails on the side of the changer could be altered to allow the unit to move forward an important inch or two? sometimes you can do things like that, or maybe put it on a shelf to get it forward that distance?

With our patent-pending design, this all-new connector features a hidden bridge which signals to the GPU that a full 600W is available to be used. All of this is done without the need for tiny and fragile sense pins that can easily be dislodged, causing black screens and 100% fan utilization.

Your connection will be female to female, other then that, I agree.

Unless you have a different usb power cable that requires female to male.

Normally the old cable for the v2 is a straight male connection, the new V3 come with a 6 ft male usb type A to micro usb with the 90 degree end that looks proprietary to wyze. So a female type A to female micro usb adapter with some heat shrink or other suitable method of weather sealant should work.

Just posting here for anyone thats interested. I just got some 90 degree usb adaptors and also a 180 degree usb cable. These are both for the 10" HD screen. After installing I prefer the 180 degree for my installation but thought i would pass the links on. If you search on Amazon for 180 degree usb c cable there is longer 6 ft cables if needed.
