Dear K.,  As you know, GLP Global Grant #1872362 for the 2018-2019 Rotary year was recently approved by The Rotary Foundation for the amount of $628,518. This incredible gift will change the lives of over 8,000 students and teachers through the GLP’s four proven programs (see our latest measurable results below).  That’s incredible! But we can’t stop there. There are thousands more deserving students who do not yet have the educational opportunities they need to work their way out of poverty—and this is your chance to help. Will you ask your club to support Guatemalan students through the GLP this year? There are two complementary ways to get involved: Join the Global Grant Invite your club to join the Global Grant #1989785 hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Guatemala Oeste (D-4250) and Sudbury, ON (D-7010). The grant pays largely for educational tools like textbooks and computers as well as top-notch training for local teachers. This year’s Global Grant pledge deadline is November 30, 2019.
