This was our experience at Kaprinos yesterday
Salaam Shamshad,
I would like to inform you about our shocking experience last night at your restaurant.
I had recommended Kaprino’s to our Manager of our ice division Tony Cromey –Hawke for their yearend function and told him how good the food was as I had been to your restaurant in the past on a few occasions.
Not once when we made the reservation were we advised the restaurant was being renovated . When Tony spoke with Wendy at your establishment he advised that we would not be able to get there before 18h00 and although we were aware of your sitting from 17h00 Wendy confirmed that 18h00 would be in order so long as we left by 20h30. Your reservations office was also well aware of the fact it was going to be an end of year function.
Firstly when we arrived there, the tables you reserved were on the side at the back with no aircon working nor any ventilation and the alarm must have been faulty as it was blaring until we complained to the waiter. Not to mention the dirty table cloths, cutlery and chipped glasses on the tables.
It also got so hot in the restaurant that again we had to ask your waiter to go open at least a door for some air.
The buffet food was a total mess
to put it mildly. Half the dishes were empty and the food was disgusting and I
had to ask someone to fill up the dishes. Not to mention the cockroaches walking
around.
The dessert was even worse as it came in drips and drabs and in the interim of waiting your obnoxious manager came along and clapped his hands and said ‘hurry up we must leave as there are others waiting’ and stormed off which by the way was at 19h30 when he so rudely tried to kick us out.
What an embarrassment to have recommended Kaprino’s. I personally won’t ever put my foot in your establishment again nor will I recommend your restaurant to anyone and I will tell everyone I can about how unhygienic, unfriendly and chaotic it is.
