Richmond Ultimate: Pickup, FAUL, Volunteers, Blue Toad Tournament

-- Pickup --

Weekday pickup is at 6:00pm on Wednesdays at Mary Munford Elementary School (211 Westmoreland St, Richmond, VA 23226).

 

-- FAUL Fall League --

FAUL (Fredericksburg Area Ultimate League) is a 7-week league held on Sundays in September and October at Pratt Park in Fredericksburg, VA. Double header games start at 11am and end at ~2:30pm. Registration closes today on the Staffburg Ultimate Facebook page or at www.staffburgultimate.com.

League dates:

Draft - Aug 26

Season - Sept 4, 18, 25 & Oct 2, 9, 16, 23 (playoffs and finals on last 2 weeks)

What you get:

Registration will be anywhere from $25-$35, depending on sponsors. You'll get 12+ games, a jersey, and a disc.  

While FAUL is somewhat competitive amongst the locals, it is a comfortable playing environment that caters to all skill levels.

-- Sectionals Volunteerism --

Club Open Sectionals are this weekend at Pratt Park in Fredericksburg, VA. Volunteers are needed to help with:

- managing cars & parking in the mornings

- refilling water coolers on fields

- collecting scores from games

- keeping track of soft and hard caps and sounding the horns

Help on Friday to set up fields is also appreciated.

Volunteers will be compensated with a disc and lunch/breakfast. Please email the TD, Keys, if you are willing to help.

-- Blue Toad Tournament --

CUDO is hosting a fun, recreational mixed tournament on September 24-25 at Blue Toad Hard Cider Farm, which is out near Devil's Backbone. You can find more information on the CUDO website.
