A project of Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer & The Heritage Rose Foundation Returning to Our Roots A Walking Tour to celebrate the Second Anniversary of the Heritage Rose District Saturday, October 22, 2011 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Trinity Cemetery Enter at West 155th Street Between Broadway and Amsterdam (next to Church of the Intercession) To celebrate the second anniversary of the Heritage Rose District plantings at historical and cultural sites throughout Harlem and Washington Heights, the Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and the Heritage Rose Foundation will link Northern Manhattan history to new technology. Together we are launching a self-guided, mobile walking tour and from now until Spring 2012, 1,000 roses will be planted at historical sites in Northern Manhattan. Join us at the District’s inaugural site: Trinity Cemetery, as we kick off the first phase of our guided walking tour (rain or shine).
